Over the past 10 years, we’ve served 800+ weddings in the Chicago area, creating delicious moments that linger long after the last bite. Every wedding is unique, each moment matters, and we’re here to celebrate your story in every dish we create.

Meet Chef Ovy

Growing up in Zalau, Transylvania, Romania, Ovy was raised in the countryside, where food was the center of his home. There was always a supply of heirloom vegetables and naturally raised meat, which his father transformed into nourishing dishes for the whole family to enjoy. This sparked Ovy’s passion for the culinary arts and for farm-fresh ingredients. 

While attending Kendall College, Ovy studied in Bangkok and fell in love with Thai and Southeast Asian cuisine. Upon returning to Chicago, Ovy worked at Michelin-starred Blackbird and Avec under Chefs Paul Kahan and Mike Sheerin. He later worked at RIA, another Michelin-starred restaurant. 

After years of working with the best chefs in Chicago, Ovy decided to fulfill his own dream: bringing farm-to-table, restaurant-quality food to local weddings. Ovy’s pursuit of excellence and artistry continues to this day, establishing himself at the forefront of Chicago’s culinary scene.
